Young Minds | Bold Ideas Building GMC

An innovation program empowering Bhutanese youth to co-create solutions for GMC.

Flagship Program

About Innovate for GMC

The Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), envisioned by His Majesty The King, is Bhutan’s model for values-led, innovative, and sustainable development. More than an economic hub, GMC is a living experiment in mindful living where economic progress, environmental stewardship, and spiritual well-being converge. To align youth with this vision, Innovate for GMC is launched as the flagship program. It empowers young Bhutanese to co-create solutions through four pathways: policy, entrepreneurship, non-profit projects, and blended fourth sector initiatives.
